What does this world want of me?

I have been tested repeatedly this past year.

All I did was love too much, care too much.

 

 

I have stood up for myself

and if this

makes me a bad person in your eyes, 

so be it.

I am worth more than your hate speech and cruelty.

I am not invisible and will not be treated as such.

I am a human being, worthy of love

and light and kindness. 

 

 

I am not perfect. 

I am flawed, as are you.

 

I am moving on.

Your loss.

I do not need you.

 

All I need is love.
